I'm so sad that Robert Goulet died. It just isn't Christmas in my house if we're not listening to his '60s CDs. My favorite songs of his is "He's Going To Take Away Our Christmas," a song about God telling Santa Claus not to have Christmas this year unless there's peace. We grew up listening to that album when we were little and bought the CD directly from Goulet's store. In fact we bought two copies of it, because it's my brother's and my favorite Christmas CD so we each wanted to be able to hear it whenever we wanted.

Anyway, his voice was so distinctive and his orignial songs were kind of always different from what one would expect.

He was waiting for a lung transplant and died at the age of 73.

Rest in peace, Mr. Goulet.
