My mom is starting a business and she's been looking to me to help her in every single facet and I'm kind of going crazy.

She needs frames to house these poems she writes and sells. We can get some frames at the dollar store for like five bucks, but we'd like to find a place where we can get some in bulk for that price.

I keep looking online and find these wholesale frame things but there the ones that are 8 x 10 or 11 x 13/14 are like 18 bucks.

I just have to be missing something!

Does anyone know of any wholesale places online that are those sizes around the 5 - 7 range for buying like 50 - 100 frames?

Most places online are retail. To get wholesale prices, she needs to get a business license and approach a couple of places and see what and how much they will sell to other businesses.

well she can't do that yet until she gets things going and she's supposed to submit this business plan that has all the prices of everything in it. So that's why she's been trying to find prices online for a rough idea. :)

What kind and size of frames? If you are looking for 5x7 you can find ones for under $3 if you don't mind plastic. Under $8 for 8.5x11 http://www.displays2go.com/product.asp?ID=6123

she wants wood or wood looking nice ones. The ones we got at Michaels and a dollar store were nice, but she's thinking of buying like 100 or so to start things off ...

I was originally going to sell my little paintings in frames and I found these places online after extensive searching. Lots of styles and good prices. :)
http://www.frameusa.com/ and http://www.framecloseouts.com/

But that second one is more of a grab-bag kinda place so you're not really sure of what you'll get.

Keep in mind I never ordered from these places because I decided against offering frames, so I'm not sure of the quality.

I'd also suggest Michael's, JoAnn's and Hobby Lobby. They have 40% off coupons almost every week in the paper and if you find a source of papers ( i.e. recycling bins) you can stock up. :)
